Tanabata

The Sendai Tanabata Festival is finally about to begin.

First, a volunteer introduced the Sendai Tanabata festival.

Each decoration used for Tanabata has a specific meaning.

The most famous streamer has the wish, "May I become even better."

The wish written on the strip of paper is, "I hope to be able to study more."

The origami crane symbolizes the wish, "May you live a long and healthy life."

Then, we asked the students to write their wishes on strips of paper.

Everyone was writing very seriously.
